Our annual Summer Camp is here. After much excitement at last years Jamboree, we thought this one ought to be a camp with a chilled out vibe. Don't be fooled though, there will be plenty for the Scouts to do from Climbing to shooting to days trips to the Woodland centre and either Herne Bay or Canterbury (weather dependent). No forgetting the usual mid week hike to blow away some of the cob webs.

This year the Scouts will be involved more in the cooking, with some meals being cooked over open alter fires.

The Camp will run from 27th July to 3rd August. The total cost for the camp will be £175, with a £50 deposit due upon registration. Registration and deposit is due by 15th March, final payment due by 15th June.

This year we are trialing a new registration process, to make the things easier for you as parents. The process will be as follows:

1. You will shortly receive a closed invite from me via Eventbrite (in email form).
2. Go to the Event on Eventbrite and register for each child attending camp.
3. You will receive a registration confirmation email. Keep this safe as it will have all the details on it and be need upon arrival at the camp.
4. Print off a copy of the registration confirmation and attach a cheque for the deposit (£50) made payable to 'Genesis Scout Troop'
5. Bring the printed registration confirmation and cheque to me at Scouts. Registration is now complete.
6. I will remind you of when the final payment is due.
7. You repeat step 4 above for the remainder of the money (£125)
8. Upon arrival at camp you bring a copy of the registration confirmation and we register you in online.
