This is a three piece canvas tent, with a metal pole frame. This tent is suitable for use as a tent and possibly as a kitchen and mess tent for a small camp, with no more than 8 Scouts.

The poles for the tent are colour coded. Those with blue (sky) tape in the middle are the roof level poles. Those with brown (earth) are the ground rails and those with black in the middle are the uprights. Each vertical loop of the frame is colour coded at the ends. Interlinking poles between the vertical loops are also colour coded at the ends as well.
