InTouch is the new home contact system within the Scouting association. This page outlines the mechanism that the Comanche Cub Pack will employ for the various types of contact between the Pack Leaders and parents. Contact mechanisms are outlined for the following types of events:

  • Regular Cub Scout Tuesday Meetings
  • Day trips & Night Hikes
  • Weekend Camps

These additional contact mechansims are also described in further detail below:

  • Escalations

For each of the above the following descriptions will cover both how we as a leadership team will contact parents and how parents may make contact with us.

Regular Cub Scout evenings:

  • We have a list of contact details for every Cub Scout (if your details change please notify us as soon as possible), in the event of us needing to contact parents we will call parents directly via our mobile phones.
  • Any letters we need to send out to parents will be done via email with forms posted on the website (links to the web forms, will be put into the emails).
  • Parents can contact us by visiting us in the hall (preferably prior to, or after the meeting) at any time.
  • Parents can contact us on our mobile numbers (published on the on this website), however please be aware that mobile reception is very poor at the hut.
  • In the event that adverse weather prevents us from being able to host the evening, we will post a note on the home page of this site to that effect. This will be done upto 1 hour before Cubs , no such post means Cubs is still on.
